A dynamic young company with strong technical credentials in energy efficiency is looking for a senior energy engineer to join our fast growing team.

Energyexcel was founded in late 2007 and has grown in less than 4 years to a force approaching 40 people in all.   We pride ourselves on providing the best technical advice available and recruit only the best and most creative engineers.

Our business consists of the formulation and delivery of cost effective energy saving projects that contribute substantially to our clients’ climate change programmes.  We are consultants, project managers and implementers.

95% of our business is with blue chip FTSE100 companies.  We work with global companies on global programmes and with UK companies on regional roll-out schemes.  We work in industry (pharmaceutical, food & drink, electronics) and in commercial (retail and leisure).  We work on all forms of utilities and energy conversion equipment, its design, its control, its installation and its operation.

The Candidate

We are looking for will have a good university degree and a track record of at least 5 years in a branch of energy engineering, probably in consulting or some form of energy services company.  He or she will be able to quickly identify cost effective energy saving opportunities and analyse the value they bring.  He or she will be able to size up the extent of installation work required and identify any critical aspects requiring further review.
