CHP
The term Combined Heat and Power (CHP) covers a wide range of technologies and describes a family of processes that integrate the generation of power and heat. The overall efficiency of CHP Plants can exceed 80%, which is much higher than conventional power stations. This improved efficiency is a great way to get the most out of the fuel used.

CHP Plants can run on a range of different fuels from natural gas to biofuels.

energyexcel has a proven track record of identifying CHP opportunities and implementing successful projects across multiple sites.

Understanding a site's power and heat loads is the key to establishing a viable CHP plant.

Once firm loads are established, then an appropriate CHP plant can be selected to fit the site's unique conditions.

energyexcel has the patent for an advanced form of CHP called Quadragen. This incorporates a novel refrigeration circuit to provide low temperature cooling (down to -30ÂșC).
